The Sinclair’s Brand-New Gold Coast Apartments
Construction at the corner of LaSalle and Division is moving steadily on and up, as The Sinclair Gold Coast apartments move closer to its September delivery date. This batch of new Chicago apartments will be the neighborhood’s largest addition in recent years, with 390 Gold Coast apartments coming soon at 1201 N LaSalle Street.
When details were more limited, The Sinclair was known as “The Tower of Jewel” due to the Jewel-Osco store that previously sat at the corner of Clark and Division. The grocery store will return this year with some major improvements, as the brand’s new flagship store.
With the launch of The Sinclair’s official website last week, there is plenty of new information to share. The Gold Coast apartment building will feature two green roofs and a massive sun terrace with cabanas, outdoor kitchens, pool, and spa. Dog owners will truly appreciate the large private dog park on-site. The Sinclair will also include a fitness club with a yoga studio and private physical therapy studio, business center, and 24-hour concierge.
Each modern Gold Coast apartment will offer high-end finishes, such as the Nest Learning Thermostat, plank flooring throughout, and floor-to-ceiling windows providing stunning lake and city views. The gourmet kitchens will include maple finished soft-close cabinets, quartz countertops, under-mount sinks, and glass tile backsplash. Select floor plans will feature walk-in closets and private balconies.
Floor plans at The Sinclair range from traditional studio layouts to spacious three bedroom apartments. Penthouse floor plan details have not yet been released. The 35-story tower designed by Solomon Cordwell Buenz will pursue a LEED Gold certification.
